Welcome to the Writers Workshop. 

At The Tutoring Tree, we believe in fostering a love for learning through collaborative and fun educational experiences. Our Writers Workshop sessions are designed to provide personalised support in a dynamic and social setting, helping your child thrive academically while building essential social skills.

• Comprehensive Curriculum: Using the VCOP Program, we cover key concepts and skills for writing. Students are involved in activities that help them gain more knowledge about how to improve their own writing. We also focus on the genre-specific writing features and are encouraged to always focus on four core targets; Vocabulary, Connectives, Openers and Punctuation (VCOP). We use this as a way to improve all of the writing they do. 
• Interactive Learning: Through interactive activities, games, and group discussions, we make learning exciting and engaging.
• Peer Collaboration: Students benefit from working alongside peers by conducting peer review and feedback whilst fostering teamwork and communication skills in a supportive environment.
• Progress Tracking: Regular writing tasks and feedback to ensure that each child's progress is monitored, and individual goals are set to achieve academic success.
• Flexible Scheduling: Convenient session times to fit your busy schedule, with multiple time slots to choose from.
